Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTD) manages approximate 10000 temples in Andhra state out of which Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple and Tirumala Srivari seva is most famous. Every day, this temple gets almost 1.5 lakh pilgrims, and out of them, 1,00,000-plus people attempt to have the darshan of Lord Balaji in different sessions.
Earlier, TTD tried to use contract employees for providing services in temples, but it failed because of the involvement of high costs and the transparency of the procedure. To overcome this, the TTD Executive Officer launched the Srivari Seva, an options for the devotees who want to serve in the Tirumala and Tirupati temples voluntarily.
By this service, devotees of #Srivari from ten states all over india are able to volunteer in temple activities as Tirumala Srivari Sevaks without any registration fees. Here the number of volunteers needed daily ranges from 1000 to 5000 to undertake several tasks within the temple. Now, let us look into various sevas that are available with the Srivari Sevaks.
